The director of a wildly popular 1960’s cartoon is in the Tri-State.Ron Campbell, director of The Beatles’ Saturday morning cartoon is in Evansville exhibiting his work at the Gamut Gallery on South Green River Rd.He’ll be there Tuesday and Wednesday from 4-8 p.m.Campbell is showing his work from an extensive and storied career, including The Beatles’ “Yellow Submarine” film, “Scooby Doo,” “Winnie the Pooh,” and “The Jetsons.”He’ll also be creating new pieces.The exhibit is free and original cartoon paintings will be up for sale.Ron visited with Ange Humphrey of Lifestyles earlier today.Watch that segment here.For the latest breaking news and stories from across the Tri-State, follow Eyewitness News on Facebook and Twitter.
