Ringo Starr & His All Starr Band are nearly $2 million short of Paul McCartney‘s recent stop in Georgia. McCartney performed at the Infinite Energy Center in Duluth on July 13 in front of a sold-out crowd of 10,992 fans. The show, which was promoted by AEG Presents and Marshall Arts USA, had gross sales of $2,320,697, according to data previously compiled by Billboard.

According to a 2015 Forbes column citing the British newspaper the Sunday Times’ annual Rich List, McCartney’s net worth is more than $1.1 billion with Starr having a net worth of $276 million.

During a 2016 interview with Atlanta Business Chronicle, Live Nation Atlanta President Peter Conlon, one of the most iconic and revered talent buyers and promoters in city history, said Atlanta is a solid market for contemporary and rock music.

“Rock always has been a good genre here [Atlanta],” he said. “It’s a good rock town….It’s a good market for middle-of-the-road artists; contemporary artists always do well here. It’s a great market for James Taylor, Billy Joel, Paul Simon, Dylan and all of those guys.”
