A free festival will see Aintree racecourse transformed into a celebration of one of the Beatles’ biggest hits.

The event – which is called Mr Kite’s Musicircus! – is set to be one of the biggest and most ambitious of the entire Sgt Pepper at 50 programme, which celebrates half a century of the iconic album.

The show was inspired by the song Being for the Benefit of Mr Kite! and it takes place between 2pm and 5.50pm on Sunday June 4.
